Board of directors

The PRP board consists of business people and representatives from the three boroughs (Ealing, Brent and Hammersmith & Fulham). Following a review in 2007, the board now represents the diversity of the businesses on the Park Royal estate.

The board is chaired by Alan Coates.

 Alan Coates - Chairman of the PRP board
Alan graduated in 1970 with a B.Sc in Economics from Hull University, and joined United Biscuit as a graduate trainee in sales. He performed a number of roles within the company including account management, marketing and manufacturing, and was appointed to the KP board in 1985 with responsibility for sales and marketing. In 1990 he was appointed Sales Director of McVities and became Corporate Affairs Director of the UK Group in 1998. He took early retirement in 2002, having been partially seconded to Business in the Community from 2000.

He has been the chair of Park Royal Partnership since 2001. He is also a board member of West London Business and served on the West London Economic Development Strategy Committee in 2004. He was also a chair of the Productivity working group of the LDA Production Industries Commission in 2004/05. Previously he was Chair of London Business Link in 2002 and has recently retired from both Business in the Community and as a trustee of the One Stop Shop for School Governors.

He currently chairs the board of the Ealing Education Business Partnership and also chairs Fairshare First, the commercial division of food redistribution charity Fairshare.

 George Benham - PRP Board Member

George is Development and Training Manager of Bestway Cash & Carry Ltd, and also chairman of PRP's Transport Management Association.  He has served on the PRP board for over five years.

 Elsa Caleb - PRP Board Member

Elsa runs her own business development consultancy, ECJ Associates Ltd, which supports small and medium-sized businesses.  She is experienced at working with the LDA and various government bodies.

 Amrit Chopra - PRP Board Member

Amrit owns AMC Business Centre; he has had a business in Park Royal for over 29 years.  He has been impressed by PRP's help with recruitment, and is keen to improve the service PRP offers members, and to grow PRP's membership.

 Andrew Flatt - PRP Board Member

A qualified accountant, Andrew is a partner at Grant Thornton.  He is familiar with financial analysis and company health checks, and is particularly keen to support PRP to find solutions for managing the traffic issues in Park Royal.

 David Hoy - PRP Board Member

David was formerly the Property Development Director of Diageo, who were one of the founding partners of PRP.  His experience with a large multi-national company and his knowledge of property, as well as his length of service with PRP, are invaluable.

 Peter Dawson - PRP Board Member
A chartered surveyor, Peter understands the property market and what businesses in Park Royal need.  As MD of Brixton Investments (Brixton plc), the biggest land owner on the Park Royal estate, his focus is on the regeneration of the area.

 Philip Sutcliffe - PRP Board Member

Director of Corporate Services for North West London Hospitals Trust, Philip has served on PRP's board for the last seven years, and is a non-executive director of other organisations.  He is passionate about issues around the infrastructure and safety of the Park Royal area.

 Steve Giudici - PRP Board Member
Steve is MD of Black Island Studios, and chairman of the Media Cluster Action Team.  PRP has been very helpful to his business, and he wants to improve PRP's profile, so other businesses can understand better what we can do for them.

 Audrey Linton - PRP Board Member
Audrey spent many years working in the public sector, and now manages P31 Consulting Ltd.  She has experience in training and development, and is particularly passionate about supporting women and entrepreneurs from minority ethnic groups.

 Raj Radia - PRP Board Member
A qualified accountant, Raj has worked in Park Royal for over 26 years, so he understands the needs of the Park Royal community.  He is MD of Raj Foods, and wants to make Park Royal more of a hub for the European market, particularly for ethnic products.

 Jean Fraser-Bogle - PRP Board Member
Jean runs her own business, Landell Fraser.  As well as having a law degree and considerable knowledge of employment law, she is also an experienced trainer.  She is keen to help small businesses improve their human resource management and employee relations.

 David Millican - PRP board member representing Ealing

David is the Ealing Council Cabinet member for Regeneration and Economic Development.  He also serves on the Ealing Local Business Partnership Committee, Heathrow City Partnership, Economic Development Forum, Greater London Enterprise, and the Enterprise and Employment Board.

 Lucy Ivimy - PRP board member representing Hammersmith & Fulham

Lucy is Hammersmith & Fulham Council Cabinet member for Housing and is Licensing Committee Vice-Chairman.

 Colum Maloney - PRP board member representing Brent
Colum also serves on Brent Sports Council, Hillside Housing Trust and the Health Select Committee.
