Business Development Consultant(s) Required for Creative Industries, Collaboration Network, E-Innovate, ERDF Project
Contract to end of March 2012
Brent Business Venture, part of the Park Royal Partnership Group, is a Company Limited by Guarantee, established in 1983. Its core activities are that of a small and medium sized (SME) business support organization providing targeted assistance to businesses in West London.
Brent Business Venture has been awarded the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to part fund the establishment of outreach and engagement programmes reaching underserved business and hard to reach priority groups such as BAME's. The programmes Creative Industries, Collaboration Networks and E-Innovate will deliver practical, developmental and advice service to build the skills, understanding and capacity of enterpreneurs to evaluate and define how their business growth plans can be achieved through creativity, collaboration, innovation and environmental improvements. Support will be provided through mentoring and guidance to help SMEs create individual innovation plans, commercialisation strategies and environmental plans, including implementation of measures to improve the overall environmental performance of the business.
To work with us on this project, we are seeking an outstanding person with industry experience and extensive pan - London industry networks. You will be an excellent communicator with a flair for business development as well as operational management. An understanding of advanced technology, environmental, supply chain issues and marketing would be an advantage.
The role involves working closely with a range of partners and suppliers to deliver a programme of services to clients needs.
