Business mentoring

The Park Royal Partnership Business to Business Mentoring programme is delivered in partnership with the European Business School (EBSL).  The programme enables owner/directors of small businesses to harness the skills and experience of senior managers from established large companies, or specialist business consultants, to work through issues which are holding back their business.

Owners/directors of small businesses benefit from one to one guidance by experienced business people who can help them to work through their options and give them the skills and confidence to deal with similar issues in the future.

So far, 30 SME company representatives have benefited from the programme including Add Juice, Playfayre Toys, Honeyrose Bakery and Chandrika Thomas Couture, Hothouse, Auctioning4u, and Control Electronic Engineers

To find out more please see the pdf Mentoring for small & medium businesses (link on the right).

For senior managers in large companies or specialist consultants, this initiative offers a highly relevant, experiential personal development opportunity.  Mentors use learning to gain credits from EBSL to use towards a business diploma or degree.   The large company benefits from the enhanced performance of their managers as well as being involved in transferring best practice to SMEs via a recognised corporate responsibility programme.

Mentors who have participated in the programme include senior managers from John Lewis, Sodexho, McVities, Vital International Group, McVities, TNS, NEC and Katsouris.
