Advanced Team Member Daytime
Operation of all machinery to supply , weigh , wrap and pack a variety of snacks to prescribed MCI parameters.
- To conform to the agreed daily production plan requirements.
- To complete routine checks , fault identification , and mechanical / electrical repairs on wrapping machinery and associated plant .
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and action required follow-up work.
- Participate in annual line overhauls. Report performance using appropriate Company systems and ensure communication of any non-conformance issues as appropriate , to the relevant persons eg. Co-ordinator, Technical Department.
- Ensure that all work being progressed and any operationally key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams.
- Minimise waste materials production and re-cycle product effectively.
- Ensure the safety of self and others at all times by ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Promote safety improvements via staff awareness and practical initiatives.
- Carry out risk assessments as required.
- Conduct and report necessary routine safety. Requirments for this role Mechanical engineering aptitude (essential) Mechanical engineering skills (essential in role however training will be given where required) Recognised engineering qualifications/ apprenticeship (desirable) NVQ Level 2 (in Engineering Maintenance) preferable) Electrical engineering skills (desirable ) Electrical safety & lock off (essential in role however training will be given where required) Basic food hygiene to legislative standards (desirable)
