Advanced Team Member Night
Operation of all machinery to supply , weigh , wrap and pack a variety of snacks to prescribed MCI parameters.
- To conform to the agreed daily production plan requirements.
- To complete routine checks , fault identification , and mechanical / electrical repairs on wrapping machinery and associated plant .
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and action required follow-up work.
- Participate in annual line overhauls.
- Report performance using appropriate Company systems and ensure communication of any non-conformance issues as appropriate , to the relevant persons eg. Co-ordinator, Technical Department.
- Ensure that all work being progressed and any operationally key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams.
- Minimise waste materials production and re-cycle product effectively.
- Ensure the safety of self and others at all times by ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Promote safety improvements via staff awareness and practical initiatives.
- Carry out risk assessments as required.
- Conduct and report necessary routine safety and hygiene audits.
Requirments for this role Mechanical engineering aptitude (essential) Mechanical engineering skills (essential in role however training will be given where required) Recognised engineering qualifications/ apprenticeship (desirable) NVQ Level 2 (in Engineering Maintenance) preferable) Electrical engineering skills (desirable ) Electrical safety & lock off (essential in role however training will be given where required) Basic food hygiene to legislative standards (desirable)
