To work as part of a team or a support team making biscuits/cakes/snacks and operate equipment working largely unsupervised. The operator controls work pace and progress on equipment and co-ordinates with other task areas. The operator may need to setup and adjust inter-related controls as the work progresses to regulate a number of variables, e.g. temperature, flow, weight, appearance, etc. He/she may need to monitor and add specified amounts of ingredients/additives, within specifications and will be making constant quality checks/tests and recording results for process control charts.
