STEP 2: HEALTH CHECK
This has been designed by the Food Innovation Centre manager and reviews each companies current business practice, supply chains, food safety, health and safety and sustainability management systems.
ESTABLISHMENT OF TARGETS
These are split between general and specific needs and reflect the findings of the health check and also the required targets to be met as stipulated by the funding body. EXAMPLES: Referral for environmental advice, sign up to the majors green procurement code, validation and verification of food safety management systems, attendance at seminars on hot topics or training in food safety or health and safety or implementation of new process, product or service etc.
