INTRODUCING : SPECIALIST SUPPLIER SERVICES

 

The FIC has recruited a list of specialist suppliers who have been pre validated by the Food Innovation Centre as Industry experts in their field. Specialist suppliers must be registered with the FIC in order to provide services to registered clients. The FIC welcomes further applicants who specialize in delivering services to the Food and Drink industry and who meet the requirements of the Park Royal Partnership and FIC criteria for supply.

 

The suppliers will have the opportunity to run clinics, seminars, workshops at the FIC at no cost to them or our clients to promote awareness of their business expertise and market requirements.

 

These suppliers will provide the following industry expertise:

 

1. Marketing, sales, branding, graphic design, artwork design, website design, general routes to market, sales deliverance and all areas of technical management.
2. Training and consultancy in areas relevant to food safety management, business development and marketing i.e.

• Food Safety Management i.e. HACCP or related systems to meet the requirements of catering / food service suppliers
• Labelling including nutritional, ingredients, QUID, allergen and claims declarations plus marketing and artwork design considerations
• Allergen risk assessment and management
• Factory and process design
• Auditing of Food Premises for internal and external auditors.
• Supplier Assurance including ‘Field to Fork’ considerations
• The route to successful New Product development
• Marketing tools and meeting customer requirements
• Creating a food safety culture and resource management

 

Plus certified courses ( note: these types of courses do not meet the criteria laid down by ERDF funding and so will not be funded or run in conjunction with the funded project and will be delivered at full cost to clients through the Training Brokerage offered by Park Royal Workforce)

• Levels 1-2 Award in Food Safety
• Levels 1-2 Award in Health & Safety
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Health & Safety in the Workplace
• Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety
• Level 4 Award in Managing Health & Safety in the Workplace
• Foundation Certificate in HACCP
• Intermediate Certificate in HACCP
• Advanced Certificate in HACCP

 

All training will be organized via the Park Royal Workforce, the training broker for the Food Innovation Centre.

 

Specialist supplier services are offered to clients following health checks/ diagnostics carried out by the FIC and will be funded up to 20% where the project is seen as very innovative etc and in accordance with the clients ability to fund themselves or where there is a high demand for one service which will benefit many in the long run. To be confirmed as part of overall review by the FIC Manager.

 

Previous commitments, identified to noted suppliers, by registered clients may not be considered for funding or project identification but may be registered as part of the overall targets and outputs for the FIC after consideration by the FIC manager etc. 

 

Dealings between Clients and Suppliers will be their responsibility reference confirmation of appropriateness of services, following briefings between the two parties. Any secured services will be required to be communicated in writing to the FIC and deliverance and completion communicated as delivered and completed. Evidence of payment will also be required to the FIC.
