It is a sad fact that 1 in 3 businesses will fail within the first 3 years of trading. Up to 90% will not survive beyond 5 years. Don’t be one of them! Mentoring can be an important tool in ensuring your business develops and thrives in the years ahead.

 

BBV's Volunteer Business Mentoring Programme is available to businesses that have been trading for 2 years or less, and is completely free. The programme matches an experienced business person (the mentor) with a small business.

 

Our mentors come from a variety of backgrounds, and have all worked at senior levels in industry, or have their own successful business.

 

Business mentors can offer advice on key issues such as;
  • Business Planning and Finance
  • Tender applications and contracts
  • Staff Training and HR concerns
  • Effective marketing
  • Product and service development

The programme runs for 12 months. You will have to commit to making the changes that you and your mentor agree the business needs.
