PRP is a strong advocate for effective transport links that will maintain Park Royal’s position as a premier employment area.  Park Royal is ideally situated between Heathrow Airport and central London, with excellent road and rail connections, and we aim to ensure that Park Royal continues to benefit from its strategic location.

An effective transport system is essential for businesses within the Park Royal area.  Park Royal Partnership is working closely with bus operators, train companies, local councils and Transport for London (TfL) to improve the services we have on our estate.

We implement an annual programme of transport improvements funded by Transport for London and in partnership with business, government agencies and the three local councils to improve transport into and through the estate.

Park Royal Partnership also established a Transport Management Association (PRP TMA) which is a business led network that provides strategic direction and a strong voice for transport related investment in the area.

The work plan of the PRP TMA reflects current regional, sub-regional and local priorities which are as follows:

Strategic

  • Crossrail
  • Heathrow Airport Expansion

Sub-Regional

  • Fast Bus
  • North Acton Station
  • First Central Interchange (new station interchange between Piccadilly and Central Line)

Local

  • Workplace Travel Plans improving accessibility in and around the area
  • Reduction in Congestion
  • Public Realm improvements – improving the local environment

PRP is involved in a range of projects aimed to improve transport services in the Park Royal Area, with key partners such as the local councils and Transport for London (TfL), as well as with businesses on the estate.  Our objective is to ensure that the Park Royal Area remains easily accessible.
