Mark BairdMark Baird has worked in the drinks industry for 33 years, the last 21 of those with Diageo. During this time, he has worked in a number of senior roles including, General Management, Facilities Management for Scottish operations, Production and Operations, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Brands Communications, Programme Management and Corporate Relations.
In May of 2007, Mark was asked to become Programme Director of a groundbreaking partnership between the Scottish Government and 14 key players in the drinks industry in Scotland to tackle alcohol misuse and promote responsible drinking, retailing, advertising and promotion. During this time he worked in the Alcohol Policy Team within the Scottish Dept of Health.
Mark returned to Diageo on June 1st 2009 as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager for Diageo GB with responsibility for alcohol policy and CSR. 
 

 


Charlie Bigham

 

Charlie Bigham founded Bighams in 1996 after six years as a management consultant. Operating from two kitchens in Park Royal today Bighams employs around 200 people and makes food for discerning customers, including Waitrose, Ocado and a number of leading restaurant groups.

Charlie has worked with Park Royal Partnership for many years, most recently chairing a group of Park Royal food companies that spearheaded the development of a Park Royal Food Innovation Centre (opened in 2009). Charlie also sits on an advisory board for the Food Standards Agency.

 

 

 


Mark BenstedMark Bensted is Managing Director of Powerday plc.  Powerday provides recycling and waste management solutions to businesses and organizations across London and beyond.
He joined from British Waterways where as London Director he oversaw the company’s operational, property, leisure and regeneration activities in the capital.

 


Andy Brammer
is Factory General Manager at United Biscuits (McVities UK). United Biscuits (UB) is one of the world’s pre-eminent branded snacks businesses producing some of the best known and loved sweet and savoury snacks, with products ranging from biscuits and crackers to cakes and savoury snacks.


Joanne Francis has worked in the Regeneration team in Brent Council for six years, with a specific focus on economic and social policy including supporting the development and delivery of Brent in2Work.  Prior to working at Brent she worked in the private sector as a Senior Research Executive in the market research industry.  


Steve Giudici Steve Giudici is Managing Director of Black Island Studios, Central London's largest film and television studio complex.

 


Ian Guille

Iain Guille is General Manager, Acton Precious Metals Refinery (Vale Europe Ltd)
Iain obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde (Scotland) in 1982. He has completed business management development programmes at the University of Cape Town and the Stellenbosch School of Business (South Africa).
He joined Vale in February 2005, having gained experience in southern Africa over a number of years in increasingly senior roles in metals processing/refining (Nickel, Copper, Cobalt and associated PGMs). He has managed the metals refining operations for both the world’s number 1 and 2 platinum produces. Iain has also managed operations of a facility for the mining and production of soda ash (Botswana) involving work throughout southern Africa, and owned his own business for some years.
He has chaired and presented at international symposia and sat on national and regional committees.


Pat HayesPat Hayes has been Ealing's Executive Director for Regeneration & Housing since 2007. At Ealing he is responsible for Town Planning, Building Control, Transport Policy, Community Safety, Environmental Health & Trading Standards, Regeneration, Economic Development, Property and Housing.
Before joining Ealing Pat worked for TfL as Director of Borough Partnerships and prior to that spent over four years as Lewisham's Executive Director for Regeneration and Environment. He was previously Chief Executive of Skillswork a five borough skills and business support agency.  Pat has also worked for 5 other boroughs during a twenty plus year career in local government.
Pat has lived in Leytonstone East London all his adult life, has an Economics degree from the LSE and is married with a 10 year old daughter. Outside work Pat still competes as a racing cyclist and indulges in allotment gardening and horse riding.     


Antonia HollingsworthAntonia Hollingsworth is Principal Business Investment Officer in the Economic Development Unit, Regeneration and Housing Strategy Division, of London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.


Jimmy Lazarou is the CEO of the CDS Group of Companies, working side by side with Mick Sullivan on a daily basis. He joined the CDS Group 5 years ago and has been instrumental for the Group during the most recent downturn in the economic climate.
Jimmy has a background of over 20 years in accountancy, which is where Mick and Jimmy first met.  He spent most of that time working for one of the big four accountancy firms and brings to the Group a wealth of experience from the corporate and business world.


Martin PartridgeMartin Partridge joined Brownell Limited in 1974 as an apprentice.
He progressed through the company and was involved in various responsibilities from Purchasing to Quality and finally was promoted to Technical Director in 1985. This role involved new products, development, design & technical support.
In January 2003 was promoted to Managing Director which coincided with the company’s 40th Anniversary.


David StantonDavid Stanton has been employed by Cargiant for past 12 years in the Park Royal estate and previously worked for several leading motor retail groups, spending 5 years in the Middle East in the 1980's.


Mick Sullivan is the Founder and Chairman of the CDS Group of Companies who have been operating in Park Royal for the last 20 years.
The Group has a variety of business interests ranging from a Licensed Private Hire Chauffeur and Executive Car company, new and used office furniture showrooms, prop hire and also a substantial property portfolio, all with the Park Royal area. The Group is proud to provide employment for a large number of the local community.
Mick also sits on an advisory panel for the London Private Hire & Carriage Association.
