Title:
Business Rates and Dilapidation Claims
When:
09.03.2010
Where:
Vision -
Category:
Open Event

The 5% Business Rates increase in 2009-10 as well as the risk of a dilapidation claim have been at the top of the agenda of occupiers and business owners throughout the year.

• How well do you understand your Business Rates liability under the new 2010 Rating Revaluation and your rights to challenge the rates through an appeal?  Are you aware of the various rates reliefs that may be available to your property?

• And did you know that a claim of dilapidation against you at the end of a lease may be a precursor to an action for breach of contract, which can lead to costly litigation?

Join us at this breakfast meeting on 09 March 2010 at Vision to find out more on how to deal with these issues. Receiving advice early from a specialist consultant with necessary experience and expertise can help you reduce the likelihood of a dilapidation claim against you, as well as to re-valuate your Business Rates and successfully challenge the rates sets.  Canmoor and Doherty Baines specialise on all aspects of commercial property, and as part of this meeting they will give you an overview of the Park Royal commercial property markets.
